Mike found something to laugh at everywhere. In forty-one years of the technology business, in family nicknames that stuck for decades, in his own paintings when a mountain came out looking like a well-meaning potato. He believed a straight face was wasted if you never used it to deliver a punchline.
So alongside the verses and the vistas, this section keeps that part of him in circulation: serene, sweeping landscapes that look like they belong in a boardroom, captioned with the truth nobody puts in a boardroom. He would have bought three.
